The Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball Teams renew Non-Region Play with Forsyth Central at HOME on Tuesday Dec. 12. Game times are 6pm for the Girls Team and 7:30pm for the Boys Team. Due to the Weather Conditions ALL Fulton County After School and Weekend Events have been cancelled for Friday and Saturday Dec. 8 and 9. This includes Basketball games vs. Cherokee and N.Forsyth, Wrestling at South Forsyth and West Forsyth and Swim/Dive competition at Chamblee High School.

The Boys Varsity Basketball team opened up Region play at Lassiter in Marietta Tuesday Dec. 5. The Boys Team brought a 4-1 overall record to Lassiter and came away with a hard fought victory 52-48 vs. the Trojans. The Girls (2-4) had a difficult night dropping the game 58-37. The Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball Teams dropped their Non-Region contests vs. the Mustangs from Kennesaw Mountain High School last Saturday Dec. 2. On Tuesday November 28 the Hornets traveled to Cumming, Ga. to take on the Forsyth Central Bulldogs from Region 5AAAAAAA in a Non-Region Contest. Both the Boys and Girls team came away with wins. The Boys game was a 1pt. to 4pt. contest the entire game with the Hornets pulling away 46-41 for the victory

The Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball Teams had a successful Thanksgiving Tournament helping to raise @ $7,000 for the Roswell Rotary Club’s Honor Air Program which provides free air travel to Washington D.C. in May for WWII, Korean and Vietnam Veterans to visit their respective War Memorials.
